Despite the mixed bag of weather we are experiencing....this is a truly GOOD day....Lyle is finished his 8 weeks of classes in Saskatoon and will be home for a bit before he returns to work...2 years of school down and 2 years to go...just when will the next call be.....strange as this may be my friend and I had a conversation today about how 2 small things keys and passwords have such an impact on our lives..albeit they are there for our protection they really have complicated our lives.....with the weather being mixed up I feel much the same ....achy,tired and restless...with the weekend on the way it can only get better......the leaves don't seem to be minding the weather and everything is greening up ever so nicely.......

Today as I sit gazing at the bright fluffy clouds smitten with sunshine my relatives in Calgary,AB are burdened by heavy winds, power outages and desperately trying to shovel themselves out.....they have been buried by 20 plus centimeteres such is life....I was thinking that clouds are such an emotional part of our lives....they can be light,airy and carefree or with no warning clouds can turn dark, mean, heavy, agititated and without provokation become tumultuousness......not unlike people a person can go from calm,peaceful and benevolent state to one of agitation and angry....I spent quite a bit of my day reflecting on moods ,challenges and how we react...are we light fluffy or dark heavy ugly when faced with challenges????.....hurting today I feel dark heavy and irritable but then I see the clouds floating by and it puts a smile on my face and I am reminded how GOOD my days really are ......

Today blew in quite quickly, seemed just yesterday I was out working on the hedge and here it is time to go back out and clean up the mess I made and see if my original plan worked (being able to cut the front with riding mower)...after about 1 and 1/2 hours of picking up branches and raking....Yes my plan worked...love it when a plan comes together!!!!! the wind was quite unfriendly today...air was warm but nasty wind...apparently the wind is supposed to blow us up some rain...guess we'll see...being out in the wind drains the energy out of a body but finishing up a project is a GOOD feeling hence it has been a GOOD day....I have been feeling quite energized this week and am pleased about that..:)

Well now that our snow disappeared,the world seems ready to get on with the business of spring....and so feeling obligated to oblige I decided to go play outside and tackled our hedge attempting to tidy up the front so I would be able to cut it with the riding mower rather than by hand and after about 3 hours I'd had as much fun as I could handle and left quite a mess for tomorrow......feeling tired and sore...chalk this up to another GOOD day.........

Wow! my side effects from my needle are quite minimal today and by 9:30 a.m. I feel like I am alive again (doesn't usually happen till at least noon)..yes my energy level is still quite low but the headache and flu like symptoms are gone....this is so GOOD...with all this GOOD in the air I was quite surprised when I looked outside and saw a dusting of snow..another sure sign of spring...my daffodils didn't look to impressed to say the least..but they will be fine...by late afternoon the sun was peeking out again....not sure what to expect tomorrow.....

I am quite happy to have Sunday arrive.....I'm not sure if it's the extra outdoor activity or what but I am quite pleased to get my needle today.....my needle day is usually kinda a bust as by 2:oo p.m. when Lyle leaves back to school I am in bed and that's usually where I am till Monday.....it is a GOOD day as my needle is doing it's job and gives me usually 5 days of relief........

Saturday April 24,201

Saturdays are usually a R&R day but this week Lyle and I were out riding mower shopping..by 1:00p.m. we had made our purchase and were home..having a new riding mower will allow me to still take care of the yard as hand mowing is going to be a bit more of a challenge this year....Lyle has only 1 week left of classes so balance of this day was spent preparing for his week of up coming finals.....I spent some of the afternoon tidying up the hedge....I am starting to hurt and my balance is getting wonky....but that will be taken care of when I get my needle......this has been a busier than usual day but a GOOD day!!!!!!

This has been an awesome day...weather was fabulous...after doing my regular Friday chores and running around I went back to cutting and cleaning our front hedge....we have a 20 plus foot caragana hedge along the front of our property....it has gotten a bit unruly so we are taking it down to 4' or so to get it to rebush....spent several hours out of doors today which was exhilarting but also tiriing.. but it was a very GOOD day!!!!
