well today is the last of my 5 treatments...all seems to have gone well as I can tell....will take time now to R&R and let this work....this evening I am having trouble settling down......but it will pass.....on way home from hospital I was pleased to see that the wilting roses and ladyslipper's are being replaced by the prairie lilies,sainfoins and snake root....for everything there is a time...and so as some flowers fade and die others are wakened and proudly stand for all to see....a very GOOD day......

today is day 4 of my treatments and maybe it could have gone better but oh well!!! it came and went...went for my IV and today managed to blow 2 veins...(this poison that makes me better also has its side effects and this is one of them...weakens the veins) but found another ..had my IV...left hospital only to get caught in horrific storm....awesome light show tho...sat waiting for about 20 minutes for rains to subside (only live 15 mins from hospital...see a little irony here) got home ok ....had supper then ate half a watermelon, sweated like crazy and went to bed.....Had a GOOD day....all things totalled.......

well Day 3 of my treatments has come and is slowly going...for me Day 3 is a decider and it seems the day is going in my favor...I am about 85% GOOD a bit achy and groggy but other wise fairing quite well....today I visited my mother in law and at her apartment they have the most gorgeous pansy...I am a pansy freak but never seen this before and with the weather being as it has been the fungi is quite spectacular in the yard...now it is time to crash so am biding all a GOOD night...it has been a GOOD day in spite of a mixed bag of weather.....:)

today has been quite a quiet day..it is Day 2 of my treatments and all seems to be going well...mixed bag of weather again...had a visit and coffee with my friend today...my other friend knows I have a weakness for handbags and she brought me over the cutest flower planter filled with inpatients...yep the planter looks like a purse....I have had my hours of being energized and now my skin is crawly from my IV and I am tired so off to bed I go...but today has been very GOOD thanks to my friends.....

well the cat is out of the bag...seen my neurologist today...as suspected I have a major relapse going on...affecting my legs...he seems to think we can stop it and slow down any recurrences by having 5 days of pulse therapy....i hour each day of IV (concoction of steroids and other meds)..have not had to have this since I was first diagnosed with MS in 2007....dr. quite confident this should work and slow down ant further relapses...the weather today was a real mixed bag sunny muggy thunder storm ...heavy rain like crazy ....captured some real strange clouds...I am feeling relieved and GOOD about getting treatment started...Day 1 is over.....

oh wow! here we are almost half way thro 2010 and the first day of summer..albeit there have been weather watches for surrounding areas in our corner of the planet we had a very nice sunny day...when I went to go out on my deck this afternoon the first cricket of 2010 was waiting on the door threshold...today has been spent doing very little by me...I am very tired and quite sore..tomorrow I will be going in to see my neurologist to inquire about my lazy legs...despite being tired and in pain I have had a very GOOD first day of summer.........

this is a day for Gma to R&R...a day to reflect on the honor of having children and the blessings of grandchildren...by staying involved in their lives we find our lives enriched...they bring a smile when we watch them challenge their ever changing lives....being part helps keep us all connected...we feel so blessed that they want us to be with them to share the highs and we are confident that they will approach us if they need our support...it was a glorious Father's Day...I did very little but managed to capture a few GOOD shots of some very busy bees....a GOOD day of R&R.....

today has been another busy day...this day has been my grandsons day...he has a soccer tournament ....so we get to see his expertise in this area of his life...his first game was at 8:00a.m. so no sleeping in for gma today...the weather was very co-operative and after 3 games his team finished out on top...he suggested to me that soccer is a great game and that it was fun for everybody even old people...(I don't see me starting a soccer league anytime soon but Buddy figures it is a possibility.....) another GOOD day but this gma is wiped right out and so ready for bed..........
