this is my lawn decoration although the birds and squirrel think its a smorg....since Thanksgiving is near I guess that's ok.......

this is my friend's corn field..they grow it and in a while they will turn their cattle in and let them clean it off before it gets cold......

here we are at the end of another month..putting us two thirds of the way through this year..time just seems to fly....today has been another GOOD day..weather wise it was gorgeous again..I spent some time today outside puttering and this afternoon I went to my friend's farm and picked 12 corn stalks from their field...I am going to use them for my outdoor Thanksgiving decoration...I also spent part of the day sewing..finished up another jumper..done some laundry and tidy up...the Crew and I were out for a run (they run I drive) today has been a very GOOD day and tho' I am tired I feel quite GOOD...seen an eagle today but was unable to get a photo as I was slightly unprepared......:)

as one will notice I did some catching up today...caught up my blog...caught up on some housework and laundry (had to happen sooner or later)..I also caught up on some paper work and those cranberries I picked Friday are now tucked away in pint jars in the form of Cranberry ketchup...all 14 pints..although most of my day was spent catching up I did spend a GOOD part of the day outside...when the day is sunny my pc gets neglected so I reacquainted myself with it today all 27 e-mails.......am tired and kinda sore today but had a GOOD day.....:)

I sorted out some pictures I took a few weekends ago..this is the post office in the town I was born in...Ituna Sask...

these leaves are all over my breezeway...my vines are bare and the leaves are all on the ground......

Tuesday and another beautiful sunny warm day...we decided to blitz into Regina and pick up a few things...important things like thread dog treats protein whey and such....life is GOOD we found everything we needed...the fields are so busy with combines trucks and the like...came home by 1:00p.m....buzzed down for my haircut and then took the dogs for a run...Lyle puttered about...would you believe he was getting the snow blower up and running...sooner than later yes we will have snow....GOOD day full of sunshine and warmth.....very tired tho' and oh yes...no housework again...........:)

this is some of the trees in front of the local school.. they are so pretty and so colorful.....

Wow! Monday morning and after a GOOD nights rest I feel like I can challenge anything today...the weather is fabulous so we are outside ...cutting grass emptying pots and all the things you do on a great fall day...it is such a treat this weather...the fields are alive with activity...such a wonderful sight...the geese are flocking and flying ...we have seen several flocks today..lots of Canadas and quite a few Snows...I tried taking a photo but I don't have the right lense...my shot shows the V and considering I was standing on the deck shooting in the sky I guess it turned out ok....dear Santa..I want a new camera....lol...enjoyed the day immensely...no housework today but oh well!!....:)

today is another lovely sunny day...Lyle has to work so I am just home chillaxing...spent some time puttering outdoors...knitting....reading finished one book and started another.....and yes it is needle day so by noon I am sick and heading straight away to bed...2 Tylenol and off I go...as GOOD as Sunday gets........

today was a very pleasant day a great day for checking out some yard sales..I checked out 2 to be exact...lots to see...I picked up a little china cabinet I fell in love with..a few pieces of enamel ware (which I collect)...that was the easy part finding a spot rearranging was a bit trickier and took a lot more time and energy....but got GOOD deals so was tickled pink....now I just need to convince hubby to refinish my cabinet...oh well another day.......:)
