this day was busier than yesterday...I drove to Yorkton and spent part of the day with my daughter and gdaughter...gdaughter's dram club had their final production for the school year...it was very GOOD...they wrote, edited staged and preformed 3-15 minute skits...all were spoofs on Reality TV..GOOD belly laugh stuff...after production my daughter went out for leisurely lunch and then done some shopping...after a couple of hours(which is about all either of us can handle) of shopping we picked up gson and gdaughter and went out for ice cream....perfect day out....came home had supper with hubby and now I am ready for a GOOD night of rest...perfect day....

today has been what some may consider a very boring and uneventful day...but in my world I am thankful for days like this...no phone calls to make or recieve. weather that is rough and uninviting..no place to be a day that is just uneventful...I loved it and so it was a needed GOOD day.....I did not take oe edit any photos either....just let everything go by.....

absolutely gorgeous day at the kotima...en route to the kotima we stopped at the Forrest Farm Cemetery to plant some flowers on Dad V's grave...spent part of day cutting grass at kotima then went picture taking before it decided to ran about 6:00p.m. when we came home....we had company today a doe came to check out the campsite...seen lots of birds and had a very GOOD day..I feel a GOOD night's rest I hope as I am exhausted....(will post pictures tomorrow)

today has been an insanely gorgeous day...warm sunny and no rain or wind...spent most of the afternoon relaxing outside and reconnecting with my flower beds and Mother Nature...in spite of all the rain everything is growing so well...but I am sure everything will enjoy the sun....my white roses started to open today and the amount of buds unreal..columbines are just lovely...I planted some tomatoes,vines and marigolds...I am sure tired but albeit a GOOD tired and a very GOOD day...spoke with my parents today and they are feeling better also now that we have some sun and life goes on......

Monday June 14,2010

today is a much needed day of rest and back to daily routine...now that we are back home it is a day to catch up...laundry and tidy up is needed..Lyle has an electrical job to do in Regina and so is gone today..the Crew and I are in rest mode...albeit some chores get done we mostly rest to day...on my tour of the yard I find that my little Summer Wine tree has burst into bloom...what a gorgeous sight...it has been a quiet day but GOOD day....

today Lyle and I remained at the farm with Dad and Mom....since they will be there we decided to help put things in order and to help with some of the tidy up...Lyle and Dad cut grass and Mom and I did tidy up....it was a quite day but very productive and as everything starts to fall into place a very refreshing unhurried and somewhat relaxing day....emotions have run high for the past week and now the quiet time is setting in.....we spent a GOOD day with Dad and Mom.......

today has been a very trying day for our family..today we must say good-bye to our dearly departed...after a brief and tearful graveside service we return to my uncle's farm for some reminiscing and family sharing.....I don't believe the farm has seen so many people there all at once...nieces nephews great nieces nephews brothers (2 left out of 5 ) remain...all with some special memory to share....hard day but sharing our grief and memories made it a very GOOD day and the rain let up and the sun shone all afternoon....a sign to me all was well....I was deeply thankful for the strength my brother Rick displayed as he capably expressed the feelings of each of us when he handled the graveside service..Thanks Rick......

Monday June7-Friday June11,2010

this week has been a bit of a blurr...it seems it was make plans..sort..rain...constant phone calls and do it all over again...it has been a very busy week and exhausting but all in all ....everything got sorted out and aside from the fact we all were very tired and off schedule a GOOD week...sorting all my Uncle's things we resurrected so many memories and tho I was deeply saddened at his passing....I feel deeply honored to have been chosen to be his niece..spent so many hours that no one can take away and I truly believe in my heart he was tired and needed a rest..,he was a very busy man right up to the week before he passed on...on Friday June 11,2010 in his memory Lyle and I planted a tree in our front yard in his memory...the more sorting and cleaning we did we realized he had quite a liking to the color purple/wine.....so we planted a "Summer Wine..ninebark"...a purple shrub with pink flowers....we love you and miss you but wish you calm and peace uncle Mike....:)

Grandpa and Dani verses Kim and Griffin...both kids had never driven their tractor before...Griffin was not heavy enough to keep tractor running so needed Gma or Mom for extra weight...we all had a blast...

today is kinda a hard day..didn't sleep well..so kinda fuzzy...spent the day out at the kotima where we met up with daughter and her family...just what we needed..great diversion...we went ripping thro the bush, had a picnic and spent part of afternoon racing around the yard on lawnmower and Ford tractor...came home exhausted but was well worth the time...grand babies and family are a blessing from our Creator....a Bad day turned GOOD.....

today the has decided to shine so off we go to the kotima to cut grass....after returning home I receive a very upsetting phone call that my uncle passed very suddenly today...he was a gem of a person but at 89 I guess he was getting tired and needed a rest....altho being tired and very upset today has been a GOOD day.........
