feeling quite a bit better...food staying down and not quite so achy..but still chills and sore throat...did get myself to go for a walk...not bad...took a few pictures of the hawthorn bush neighbors brown sunflowers(which I think are quite striking) and our bulrushes in the swamp pond...energy level still not where it should be...maybe tomorrow.....

just as I suspected..despite my needle side affects a nasty little flu bug along with a very sore throat hit....the GOOD thing about these past 2 days I did not have to fight anyone for the bathroom as it was my best friend......better days ahead...

today was a fairly quiet day to end the week...not sure if I am coming down with something but just feel off today...chills achy and just restless...hope it is just this crappy weather...where is the nice September we have been promised?....a GOOD day just kinda off day.....the cool wet summer has been just what the sweet peas and apples like..apples this year not as many but terrific size and taste.....

Thursday Sept. 9,2010

today was just as they had forcasted...cold and rainy...a perfect day for baking...so I started a batch of starter for sour dough bread and made 2 loaves of two-tone bread (white with rye) and made coconut oatmeal cookies and another batch of ricotta sugar cookies (for lunches lol)...I had mailed the green monkeys to my little people and I got photos of Rowan unwrapping his...they like getting mail...was glad he liked his monkey...I have a friend who knows I quilt and sew so she decided to send over fabric and some accessories so I sorted that all out...I guess if it stays cold I will be prepared so I don't get bored...knit sew bake and do it all again...I stay indoors when it is cold and miserable as my MS doesn't like this nasty transitional weather...quite achy but it has been a very GOOD day......this weather just cries out for a wood fire so I fired up the stove this evening...so cozy....:)

Wednesday Sept.8,2010

today has been a day of surprises.....the sun shone the air was warm and the sun shone...delightful day for a drive to the country and valley...took a drive to the spring in the valley to fill some water jugs and to take some photos...shots of valley the spring trees at spring and shot off the step of our friends cottage at the top of valley....feel GOOD today just exhausted and all the same old aches and pains....was a great day for walking.....:)

Tuesday Sept7,2010

everything is back to some sort of a routine...children are back to classes..Lyle is back to work...me I baked off my Ciabatta loaf..parcelled up my monkeys for my "little monkeys"..done tidy up and laundry...went for a haircut pedicure and had my nails done..found my pattern so I can start making my jumpers using that wonderful material I found at the farmer's market...took my "Crew" out for a run as the sun was out for a bit...made spaghetti and meatballs after I made some fresh tomato/basil sauce....busy but GOOD day...fairly tired today...I also caught up on my e-mails and such....:)

Saturday Sept.4-Monday Sept.6,2010

• wow here we are at the end of the Labor Day Week-End..in my books fall is officially upon us...Oh yah! Riders pulled a win off on Sunday!!!! Lyle and I spent a quiet cozy weekend..Friday and Saturday we puttered out in our yard as it was quite pleasant...Sunday not so much...watched Rider game finished off 3 more monkeys for my great niece and 2 nephews..Monday I done a bit of baking made Italian Ricotta Sugar Cookies..yumyum! and started a loaf of Ciabatta bread...you make this and let it rise 18 hours turn it out form into loaf and rise it again for 2 hours...I'll be baking this off Tuesday p.m....but so worth the wait...had a very restful and relaxing weekend and hope everyone else did also...what will the new month and week bring?.....:) the leaves in on our breezeway are starting to color as are other vines better enjoy them as soon there will be no leaves on the trees or on the vines......been a very quiet and GOOD weekend....
