well here we are another gorgeous week is upon us...Lyle and I have spent most of the week at the kotima in the bush cutting wood...what a treat it is the weather is fabulous and we are so blessed to be able to have the time to spend cutting wood....the wind has been a bit bothersome in the late afternoons.....this has been a very busy week of birthdays in the Vennard family...I have a daughter,brother-in-law and sister-in law and 2 cousins who celebrated this week....to busy .....on Wednesday we popped back into town with a load of wood and left Thursday after my haircut...we filled the truck again with cut dry wood and stayed at home as Lyle got called into work for Friday a.m.....Friday will be busy as we are going back to the kotima on Saturday a.m.........GOOD days...tired extremely but it's a GOOD tired.........

this is an example of a discovery on our hiking trail..it is a path that the elk use to cross thro' the bush..the trees have rubbings on them(not clearly visible..trees in front)....the day after this was taken my Dad took my 2 gbabes for a ride and they seen a doe crossing here.....

at the farma Dad has a hiking trail cut thro' the bush on the old farm..tho a hiking trail we usually prefer to explore it from his golf cart...so much to see along here and in winter is a great snow mobile trail.......

I guess I must have liked this photo of Dani ...or maybe this just shows my poor pc skills...anyway it is a GOOD picture and I am always impressed with the way she loves to draw and sketch.......

this has been neither a really GOOD nor really Bad week..,.just a rather busy and confusing week...the 10th and 11th we had the gbabies here which was fun but the 1oth being needle day was a yucky day (was very sick and unable to do much with anybody..:(....but it came and went and the 11th was a recuperating day and much better)12th and 13th was spent at the kotima getting things ready for our annual wood cut....weather was absolutely gorgeous...14th to the 16th I went to the farma and spent time with my Dad and Mom along with my sister from B.C. and we were joined by my daughter and her family...great fun lots of reminiscing laughter and new memory making (sad to say my gson who is 10 had not met my sister..talked on phone but never actually met) lots of GOOD food and maybe even way to much..I left on the 16th and my sister from Winnipeg arrived for a few day visit (I came home as the 17th was needle day and I did not want to be sick away from home and GOOD thing I did as the 17th was a not so GOOD bordering on BAD day and to make things worse our football team the RoughRiders forgot and left their game faces at home and lost their game to Calgary...oh well by Monday the 18th things looked much better)...the 18th is my daughter's birthday ...celebrating this occasion just reminds me of how blessed I really am....maybe my life is boring but after this week I am truly reminded of how much I have and how loved I am.......:)

today we have been chillaxing...we baked cookies...the kids went out for the afternoon to a friends farm spending some time with her family...gpa had to work this afternoon so we won't see him till morning...after everyone left I tided up just a bit done some laundry...am getting things ready to go to kotima tomorrow for a sleep over we are meeting gpa out there..kids are excited .....for a day with no particular plan or place to be we have had a full busy day....has been a GOOD day ..not to many photos just a wonderful sunset to go with a beautiful day.......

today I am anxiously waiting for the gbabies to arrive...they are going to be spending weekend with us...today has been spent just goofing around and enjoying each other's company...such a fun GOOD day........of course both of the kids are fund raising so we have several boxes of chocolates and new magazine subscriptions that will be arriving....supporting gbabies fund raising is in the gpa and gma manual of dos and don'ts...lol...love it all....today was Auntie Pat's birthday (she lives in Cranleigh) so we made her a video for fun........

there is very little for services in Riceton and the children there are bused to Milestone....this sign shows the years the school was in operation.....

Lyle coming out of the big boy toy store...I let him go in alone and he came out with only 1 bag..kinda surprised me.....maybe next trip to Regina he'll be allowed in alon again...lol

this is the day I go see my neurologist...after my visit I am quite pleased...seems we have low white count and low oxygen levels under control for now anyway...after my appointment we went out to Riceton and spent the balance of the afternoon with my brother and sister in law...they just recently purchased a house and are doing a complete reno on it...very exciting for them but I am glad it's them and not me..am anxious to see the finished job......the weather was gorgeous and the farmers were busy as bees..very exciting time for them....had a very GOOD day got GOOD checkup...but oh boy am I exhausted...hoping for a GOOD sleep.....:)

these few days have been spent "CHILAXING"....recuperating from low white blood count low oxygen levels and trying to decide what to do with mass on side of knee.....after blood work some antibiotics and major rest...I hope that we get decent report from neurologist on Thursday the 7th......have not been out taking photos past few days.....:)

the best of the best..when your friend shows up with samplings of her preserves.....:)

today when I woke up I just felt off..can't put my finger on it but I am sure I will....had an appointment with my gp in town...he had some test results for me...white blood count is low and am borderline anemic...oh well that's what my needles can do...got this one under control..with docs help.....did not do much today but my friend down the street brought me over some samplings of her preserves..carrot marmalade bread and butter pickles chokecherry jelly and of course grape jelly (from her own grapes she grows) oh yah yummy (we exchange recipes and goodies as well as preserves)love her...been a GOOD but kinda off day gotta have this kinda day to appreciate a day when I am not off.....:)
