I decided that I had better update my blog...have not been posting as I have been sick and not doing much of anything....was feeling a bit off Friday and went to see doctor....was really sick over weekend and cussed out my week of treatments more than once...found out Monday when doctor called that I not only have laryngitis but pneumonia to boot..:((..scurried down and got some antibiotics and today I actually can talk without squeaking and be heard ....still coughing but feel so much better...my treatments left my immune system low and 5 days of out patients in the hospital and doctor says I was a good target for some type of bug or infection...tomorrow I plan on venturing out and do some shopping....my sister-in-law started her radiation treatments today....only 34 to go...feel for her but she is strong and she will be ok...God bless you Lana with strength and courage....haven't taken many pictures but have a few...interesting one of cobweb that was under patio umbrella...some flowers and yes my cherry tomatos are starting to produce....life is GOOD.....:)

today has been a quiet day in more ways than one...I woke up with no voice and nasty cough (residue from treatments I think) see doctor tomorrow morning and did a lot of R&R...took a walk in the yard and the saskatoons are oh so close to ready..1 day if the robins don't get them first...they snitch them red....and the bunny was just in the back yard nibbling (watched him from deck)...my clematis is exploding with color....we still seem to be growing huge fungi...this one is the same size as a dinner plate...a quiet day yes but a very GOOD day.....:))

today seems to me like the day after Christmas...all the hype is over...today is so quiet ...a GOOD quiet..the grand babies have all been taken home and hubby is off to Fort Mac to work...the beds have been stripped the laundry done and put away floors tidied and garbage's emptied...I so enjoyed all the fun and hype but I am also really enjoying the quiet for right now...listening to my favorite music ...Yes today has been busy but a really GOOD day....the flowers around my yard are doing very well considering the season.........

Tuesday June29-Tuesday July6,2010

this has been a very busy week...we spent part of the week at the kotima camping with the kids from Regina...lots of visiting eating and staying up way to late...the lilies and fireflies are everywhere...July 1...we had a firework show in evening...July 1 saw Yorkton receive between 5-7 inches of rain..major problems there...all within about 20 minutes..we were back in town that evening...My dad and mom celebrated their 56th anniversary today.....Friday saw the kids from Yorkton to pick up a sump pump(none to be had in Yorkton)...they had some water in their cold storage....the two grand children from Yorkton stayed with me so their folks could do clean up..kids and I were busy painting ect here and on Tuesday we returned them to Yorkton...had a great week but boy oh boy do I need to get back on my schedule..we had a GOOD week .....:))

June 27 and 28,Sunday and Monday 2010

these two days have been quite uneventful...since I just finished my treatments I need some recovery time....this usually comes in the form of sleeping ..which I did...both Sunday and Monday....except for a few bathroom interruptions and few wake up calls to eat...I did not see the light of day either day....GOOD days ...yes I suppose if that's what my body needs to recuperate......:)

well today is the last of my 5 treatments...all seems to have gone well as I can tell....will take time now to R&R and let this work....this evening I am having trouble settling down......but it will pass.....on way home from hospital I was pleased to see that the wilting roses and ladyslipper's are being replaced by the prairie lilies,sainfoins and snake root....for everything there is a time...and so as some flowers fade and die others are wakened and proudly stand for all to see....a very GOOD day......

today is day 4 of my treatments and maybe it could have gone better but oh well!!! it came and went...went for my IV and today managed to blow 2 veins...(this poison that makes me better also has its side effects and this is one of them...weakens the veins) but found another ..had my IV...left hospital only to get caught in horrific storm....awesome light show tho...sat waiting for about 20 minutes for rains to subside (only live 15 mins from hospital...see a little irony here) got home ok ....had supper then ate half a watermelon, sweated like crazy and went to bed.....Had a GOOD day....all things totalled.......
