Another lovily day...I have devoted today to packaging "monkies"...I have decided that I wanted to make something for all our great nieces and nephews....all 19 of them plus 5 grandbabies plus 2 adult grandchildren who want socks.....so today I packaged up 7 monkies and 2 pair of adult socks....for the wee ones in Alberta....7 down and 17 to go....for the wee people in Saskatchewan...the monkies are knitted to resemble the original sock monkey.....this is my challenge for this year (I feel if I have to sit and rest I should be as productive as possible and knitting helps keep my hands and fingers moving)...I had a very nice chat with my MS friend and met her spouse and daughter..she and I are both very fortunate to have supportive spouses...not so for all MS sufferers I am sorry to say...MS is very hard on family and friends...one soon finds out who are fair-weather...I have had a GOOD day albeit not that busy......just GOOD....
