this is my Dad and Mom showing off a carrot that Dad grew in his garden...I took this photo earlier in the fall my parents are both in their 80's and have been married since 1954....raised 7 children and are both still busy and always on the go doing something.......
I took this photo also earlier this fall...I asked Dad what it was and he told me it was all that remained of the "courting cutter"...apparently this is what he used to visit Mom before they were married...although not much remains of the courting cutter they are both still happy and together....perhaps we need to go back to the days of the courting cutter.....wow I can't believe this..this is my 200th post to my blog...today has been another nice warm day and sounds like the weekend will be just as nice...how awesome is this here we are into November...strange weather tho' but loving this warm spell....since I am still doing bed rest for my legs I sorted some photos today...boy that's an ongoing job but maybe soon I'll have them sorted...can't believe how many pictures I have taken over the past few months......another GOOD day I am not really liking the rest thing but have come to accept it as an option in my general maintenance program....
