Wow! what a georgous day...could have been a little less windy but oh well! Today was spent helping a friend who was very depressed..depression is such a demon!!!!!...after we talked a while I convinced her to get dressed and I picked her up ....we went for a drive in the country...my Crew had a run and we had our lunch outside....she is having issues with her illness...but after being out with Mother Earth for a few hours I think she felt better (if nothing else she was certainly ready for a nap--sure she will sleep tonight)....tommorrow we'll see what the day brings...can only get better...sometimes being a friend is exausting but I am glad I was able to be there for her and that she felt confident enough to call me...I thank my higher power for giving me the strength to share....it has been a GOOD day......

Wow what a mixed bag today was...in more ways than one...weather was full of surprises...rain..sunshine and warm...rain but all in all a nice day...personally today was much like the weather...seems there was a lot of different "things" and "stuff" that needed doing...ie. tidy up, laundry,floors and grocery shopping...finished up Easter cards and baskets...had a nice chat with a young woman who is struggling with a recent diagnose of MS (studies show MS is a young persons disease usually between 20s to late 30s...guess I should feel young...not sharing that feeling yet as my diagnose came when I was 52)...done some sharing with her..spent some time outside between showers puttering in my herb garden managed to have my supper over with in time for Dancing with the Stars and American Idol...for me this has been quite a busy day.....I am tired and exhausted but a GOOD tired (legs and muscles more so than anything)...off to bed and see what GOOD things the morning brings ....:)

Wow! the sun is shining and after a restful night I feel like I am alive again..the hurting is minimal...feeling that I have neglected my Crew...I pack myself a lunch and we go for a drive in the country...we ended up at the farm everything seems to have wintered well...am anxious for more warmer days as today was sheer bliss...Crew enjoy their run and are relaxed and resting tonight....after a bummer week-end today has been a very GOOD day....tomorrow can only get better.......

Sunday is a feel better day...am on the mend...and a GOOD day as today is my needle day which I hope will help considerably with the achy joints and muscles....as I hoped after my needle I am fatigued but this is to be expected.....Lyle left for Saskatoon again and so begins another week..I am sure I wasn't much company this week-end but he did mange to get his reading done.......

...after a restless night I must say I feel considerably better....flu seems to have passed by but now to recuperate from the relapse....that involves rest rest and more rest ...I did however manage with a little help to go out for a bit of a walk which was quite refreshing....fresh air is a miracle drug....watched the Canadian women get their butts whopped...oh well they got bronze....supper tasted quite GOOD tonight....a quiet evening and off to bed......

Today had the missing ingredient from yesterday to make the perfect day...sunshine....albeit the wind was still nippy but hardly noticed it when the sun was shining...although I was having a hurting day I had a busy day...I made contact with 2 recently diagnosed MS people...different stories but still the same uncertainty of MS haunts them both...we had a good chat ....spent part of my day resting and knitting ....have added yoga to my treatment program....the stretches,relaxation techniques and meditation are proving beneficial....I doubt tho' I will ever have the flexability for some of the moves but who knows......today has been quite busy for me but an enjoyable day and definately a GOOD day........

Here we are the middle of the week and once again sad to say it was not really a day to lolly gag along outside.....the wind was quite cold and raw....since I was kinda forced to the warmth of the indoors I did some alterations that have been piling up....I spent the better part fo my day fixing my shirts and blouses...(my fingers don't appreciate in fact refuse to co-operate with buttons)...so I sewed the fronts of my shirts closed...take that buttons and now easily slip shirts and blouses over my head....never thought I would be making that change....I also joined the Sask MS Blog....kinda support group for people living with MS...sometimes when you see something in writing or say someting out loud it just doesn't have the weight and complexity when it floats about in the mind......a GOOD chilly day served me well .......
