Today was just like the song says,"gray skies are gonna clear up..put on a happy face...." and clear up they did...what started as a dull gloomy day ended up with a quiet peaceful sunset....all day the sun threatened to shine but actually never did until about 4:00 p.m. but what a welcoming sight when it did...everything looks better when it has the sun shining on it..I was out and about and took some pictures of spring ....the pussywillows are out and full on most trees, the daffodils and tulips are peeking out and unfurling , the geese are on the fields and my bird feeder is a hive of activity not to mention the air is alive with the sounds of birds including a robin singing .....hopefully this is just the start to a nice weekend...we did need the rain tho ..it has cleaned and freshened the air and washed away most of the remenants of winter........I feel like the daffodils I want to break out of winter's covers and get going.......It has been a GOOD day offering hope and promise......:)
